Spring Trend: Cold Shoulder Top

cute cold shoulder spring outfit

Happy Monday, friends! This top is like two spring trends in one shirt. With the cold shoulder style and ruffle detailing, it’s easy to pair with jeans for a casual look or dressed up for the perfect spring date night look.

Cold Shoulder Top: Gray Monroe c/o {currently sold out, but keep checking back — other cute styles HERE} | Jeans: J.Crew | Espadrilles: Marc Fisher | Clutch: Mark and Graham {similar HERE} | Ring: David Yurman | Watch: Kate Spade | Earrings: J.Crew, sold out {love THESE} | Sunglasses: Le Specs | Lipstick: Kim KW

Black and cognac is one of my favorite color combinations in the fall and I’ve even been continuing this color combination into spring mainly because I want to wear these espadrille sandals every chance I get! And if there is one print that goes with black and cognac it’s leopard. Unfortunately, it seems that Mark and Graham is no longer carrying the clutch in the leopard print {you can see the same clutch in different colors HERE} but HERE is a similar leopard clutch if you are searching for one. Also, one more note about this cute top: it is currently out of stock, but keep checking back. Gray Monroe has so many cute tops and dress for spring and summer and they are super affordable! You can see the full collection HERE

Apologies for the shorter post today. We have had a crazy weekend and have been trying to prepare for the snow storm that is starting tonight. As of now, they are forecasting 8-12 inches for us, let’s just hope the totals don’t go up! Although I’m dreading dealing with the snow, we have hardly had an inch this entire winter so I guess we were due. I just wish it wasn’t happening in March when my flowers have started blooming!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow for a St. Patrick’s Day inspired recipe! Have a great start to the week, friends!

  1. LOVE the little ruffle and cold shoulders and of course, leopard ties it all in!!! So cute, now we have to get rid of the snow that is piling up fast here today so I can pull out some cold shoulders, lol!! Adorable look Rachel!!

  2. Oh no, I'm so sorry about the snow! Hope it doesn't turn out to to be too bad ;( I love the pop of color and pattern with the clutch, and of course those fab wedges! You are convincing me that I might need a pair. I'm just worried I might be too tall…I have to go try them on first to find out! 🙂

  3. I hope it's not going to be as bad as predicted & I hope that you have time to get everything prepared!! I love the top you're wearing because sometimes OTS just doesn't work for me and falls off but this is a great top!! Happy Monday girl! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

  4. I love the ruffle details on this top! It's so cute, plus with the cold shoulder it just looks so feminine and pretty! I feel so bad for all of y'all up North! Getting a snow storm this late in the season has got to suck, especially since it had started to warm up!

  5. What a beautiful top, girlie! I love that it's a combination of two trends in one and the fact that it's black makes it all the more better, even more versatile! I, too, love black and cognac; I think they're such a lovely combination and can read very sophisticated too. Ugh, I'm not looking forward to this snow storm at all. Like you've said, we've hardly had snow, but the wind has been getting on my last never this season, haha, seriously every single day I feel like I'm going to be blown away! It always seems as though we get hit hard in March, right when we think winter's behind us and spring is right at arms length. Anyway, keep warm and safe, girlie!
