Green Floral Dress

Draper James Spring Dress

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing this green floral dress that I wore for Easter two weekends ago. It’s no secret I love a good dress and this short sleeve textured jacquard dress is quickly becoming a favorite in my closet.

I saw this dress back in March and instantly fell in love. The color {color of the year!}, print, scallop hem, grosgrain ribbon around the waist and of course the pockets just make this a dress that screamed my name. It’s such a versatile dress that not only is perfect for the spring but also as we head into summer. We had a serious warm up last weekend for Easter and I was stumped as to what to wear. I was so not prepared for an Easter dress with the temperatures in the high 80s! I decided that this would be perfect and with so many upcoming graduations, showers and weddings, I will surely find another way to wear it in the coming months. As for accessories, I kept everything pretty simple for Easter Sunday: beige sandals and clutch and fun tassel earrings

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The weather cleared up yesterday and we were able to take Ella to the dog friendly winery. It’s one of our favorite Virginia wineries and we love that they welcome dogs. If you are in the DC area or ever visit, I would highly recommend Stone Tower Winery! It’s going to be a crazy week at work so I apologize if I’m a little MIA this week! Have a great start to the week, friends!

  1. What a beautiful dress! I love the color and overall design, it's such a perfect piece for both spring and summer and I love the way you've accessorized it here with the gold tassel earrings and nude shoes! I know, I couldn't believe how warm it was on Easter either, it was perfect. Then after that, I don't know what happened because it because so cold and rainy, more like fall weather than spring. I'm so happy that you were able to take Ella to do the dog friendly winery! I know you weren't sure if the weather was gong to permit, so I'm so glad it did! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have the most amazing week ahead!

  2. This dress is seriously so pretty, and the first thing that I thought was that it fits the color of the year perfectly! That's so exciting that you were able to take Ella to the winery this weekend! I swear that's one of my favorite things about Texas wineries, being able to take Dart with us!
