Floral Cold Shoulder(ish)

floral ruffle top

This floral top has been on serious repeat this spring and summer. You may remember when I styled it HERE with a navy blazer during the cooler months and now it's been my go-to top to wear with white jeans. I wore this top while in California and actually skipped the cold shoulder feature. But when I wore it this past weekend, I styled it as it was intended, with the cold shoulder!

Floral top: cabi c/o | White Jeans: old | Distressed White Jeans: Articles of Society {only $59} | Pink Tassel Clutch: old {similar HERE} | Gold Clutch: similar HERE | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Sandals: Ivanka Trump | Lipstick: turkish delight

Originally, I wasn't going to share the pictures we took in California since I didn't technically wear the top "correctly." But, I thought that not only was the background so pretty, but it was a different way to style the top, making it look more ruffly and perfect for the hot temperatures. And since I wore it the proper way this past weekend, I wanted you to see the true cold shoulder style

As for accessories, I stuck with my favorite dressed up gold sandals for both looks. I kept the white jeans for both looks, wearing the distressed version in California and the high-waisted in the look from over the weekend. I carried my gold clutch {similar HERE} and swapped it for the pink tassel clutch {similar HERE} this past weekend.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Be sure to check back tomorrow for all new recipe. See you back here tomorrow!

  12. I really like how creative you got with this top! It's definitely a versatile piece and I love how you've proven that just by making some minor changes to the way it's worn, as well as swapping out the clutch, a completely different look and effect can be achieved! You look beautiful as always, too! Thanks for sharing, girlie, and I hope you're having a wonderful start to your week so far!

  13. This top really is adorable, and I love how you show the sleeves worn two ways. I think that its a great way to wear the top, even when cold shoulders go out of trend.

  14. Really cute top! And really versatile since you can wear the sleeves two ways! Also that hot pink clutch is really cute!
